Seems the mask really dominates the scene; was that your intention? I love all the background images: the violin, the music, the roses, the noose... all of it. Very nice.
I love the Leroux theme, too. I'm kind of a purist at heart. I like phantom stuff that goes strictly by Leroux and doesn't borrow anything from more modern treatments.

Yes, the mask is the main hero of the picture. That's why the whole scene is done in warm coloures and the mask is silver.
